New gas Transmission Network Code
Since 1 March, there is applied a new version of the Transmission Network Code for the National Transmission System. The TNC is a basic document regulating the operation of the national transmission network in the gas sector which enabling the Operator to manage the whole system.
Changes in the current version of the Instruction coming from the need to adapt provisions of the TNC to the requirements of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 312/2014 of 26 March 2014 establishing the network code for balancing the gas transmission network and the Commission Regulation (EU) No 984/2013 of on 14 October 2013. establishing the network code concerning capacity allocation mechanisms in gas transmission systems and supplementing Regulation of the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 715/2009.
