EDF Renewables is building a large energy storage facility, supported by law firm BWW

The entity that is betting heavily on RES has officially announced the start of construction of its first battery storage facility in Poland. The application for funding for this investment to the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management was prepared by the BWW law firm.
At the PAP Press Centre, one of the main investors in RES in Poland, which is also active in more than 20 other markets, accompanied by business partners and experts, presented the Stary Grodków storage facility, as well as plans for the development of energy storage technology.
The meeting was attended by Małgorzata Banasik, managing partner of BWW law firm.
– Cooperation with EDF Renewables is the implementation of our philosophy in the field of energy. We help companies from various industries to go through the energy transition and energy companies to realise this great change. In this case, we prepared an application together with our partner for a large investment grant from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management,’ says mec. Banasik.
One element of the entire event was a panel discussion with energy sector leaders on the future of the energy system based on flexibility, security and renewable energy sources. What conclusions came out of this discussion?
Above all, the energy storage industry points to the need to further adapt regulations to the needs of the market. All the more so as this technology is constantly evolving and becoming more efficient, secure and capacious
