Counsel Mrs. Banasik on the Supervisory Board of PGE
The co-founder and managing partner of the law firm BWW, along with the other new members of the board, were appointed at the Annual General Meeting at the request of the Minister of State Assets.
The seven RN members were appointed at the request of the State Treasury, which represents the Ministry of State Assets. In addition to Ms Banasik, Elżbieta Niebisz, Eryka Kosiński, Andrzej Rzońca, Slawomir Patyra, Andrzej Sadkowski and Andrzej Kozyra were also appointed to the board. PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna is the largest electricity company and the largest producer of electricity and heat in Poland. It supplies energy and heat to more than 5.6 million customers. The PGE Group’s generating units produce more than 40 per cent of Poland’s electricity. PGE is a joint stock company in which the State Treasury holds almost 61 per cent of shares.
